Personality
Elika has a number of layers that make it difficult for her to properly develop long-lasting friendships with other people. Her initial greetings are typically polite and business-like, thinly veiling her disinterest in engaging in social formalities.
Beyond social settings, Elika spends much of her time removed from society, often spending countless days in the wilds tracking her hunts. This affords little room to practice her personal interactions with people and often makes her socially awkward when discussing topics outside her immediate interests: the outdoors, reading books, or practicing with her weapons.
Should someone befriend Elika, they'll find someone passionate about her work and rather endearing to the close friends she does have, to the point of considering them 'family.'
Backstory
Not much is known about Elika Harel that she willingly shares with others. One noticeable aspect is that her name doesn't follow typical Raen conventions. Similarly, the way she carries herself doesn't reflect traditional Doman or Hingashi culture, even her accent hints at a diverse upbringing elsewhere in Hydaelyn.
At the age of seventeen, Elika arrived in Ul'dah and began her journey as an adventurer. Her talents with the blade and her fluid, dance-like movements in battle draw attention, but she remains guarded about who trained her in this unique style. The long gunblade she wields, a weapon not commonly seen, adds to the enigma surrounding her skills.
She worked her way through various Free Companies, often parting ways until she joined one co-owned by a distant cousin. Despite finally having a place to call home, the demands of her adventuring duties keep her frequently on the move. She often survives off the land, camping outdoors—a lifestyle she admits is more relaxing than being cooped up inside.
Currently, Elika continues to make a name for herself by accepting hunting duties. Driven by experience and the pursuit of refining her talents as a "Hunter," she takes on challenges that others might shy away from. Her reasons are her own, and perhaps, with time, more about her past and motivations will come to light.

Elika spends much of her time wandering the outside world while hunting all manner of vicious creature or hostile beast, either for contract work or in service to help a local community.

When she's waiting on assignment in the city, Elika can be seen reading or relaxing around the local taverns, but finds her social skills lacking in making random conversation. Something she's been practicing with aid of some drinks.

On rare occasions, Elika attends local festivals or events, drawn by the music or the allure of new experiences. Her presence at such gatherings provides an opportunity for others to meet her in a more relaxed setting. Despite her social awkwardness, she might be intrigued by performances or artisan crafts, opening the door for interactions with entertainers or fellow attendees.

Characters with access to ancient texts, libraries, or who have traveled extensively might find themselves approached by her for assistance.

Myrddin
Elika's older cousin and co-owner of the Free Company Starry Garden, known for some abilities and adventurous spirit. Playful yet protective, he offered her aid after her years alone and assists in her search for her missing parents.
Jaydin (carrd)
Myrddin's wife and co-owner of the Starry Garden, is a cool and skilled rogue with a unique aetheric ability. With her snarky demeanor and sharp wit, she shares a close bond with Elika, serving as both mentor and friend.
Manaka (carrd)
Elika's housemate in Shirogane, providing friendship and support as Elika adapts to life in the Far East. She offers a sense of home and helps Elika navigate the local culture, allowing her to relax when she returns from her hunts.
Corvel
A former high-ranking marshal living in exile who became Elika's mentor during her aimless wanderings. Disfigured and missing her hands, she uses magical bindings to wield enchanted blades, and her training honed Elika's combat skills and sparked her determination to find her parents.

I am 21+ and comfortable with mature themed RP, but my preference usually leans toward fun and casual. Also, I will have to turn down ERP if I am not familiar with you.
Walk-ups and Tells are always welcome when my RP tag is on. Though you may have to send a Tell to gain my attention beforehand, since I might be tabbed out or AFK.
About Myself
A pretty chill and relaxed person that's willing to help where possible, but my attention is normally divided between several things both in-game and IRL. I'm an artist that fails to find inspiration to draw in recent year, but I'm doing my best to set aside time and get back into it. Not much of a heavy conversationalist, but I would like to think that I'm a good listener. Have a work life that demands my time at usual business hours, so I attempt to cram all of my personal matters and playtime into the evening and weekends.
